Native Bee Hive – To split or not to split?

If you own a native bee hive and have thought about splitting it, our Coastal Environment is here to help.

There are a number of benefits to splitting your hive such as:

•  A native bee hive is a great, unique gift for family or friends
• By increasing the number of native bee hives locally you will be supporting our local biodiversity

From 20 November to 11 December we have a number of time slots available to help you split your native bee hive.

If you are interested please email cec@northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au. We will then contact you and ask a few questions to determine if your hive is suitable for a split.
