Library Storytimes provides parents with a wonderful opportunity to introduce young children to the joy of reading. The sessions are approximately 30 minutes and are usually developed around a story or theme.
Together with stories chosen especially for pre-schoolers, the sessions also include music, songs and rhymes. These sessions give children a fun and relaxed start to their reading development before school.
After the session children have time to select their own picture books to borrow and enjoy with the family at home.
Sessions available during school term only.
This is a free service and bookings are not required. For enquiries, please contact 9942 2449.
