Jewellery Sales Professional

York Jewellers is seeking a skilled and experienced Luxury Goods / Jewellery sales professional to join our team. You will play a crucial customer-facing role, guiding clients in selecting the perfect jewellery piece.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide expert customer consultation and jewellery sales for ready-to-purchase and bespoke jewellery.
• Assist jewellery designers with bookings for custom jewellery pieces
• Book in and comprehensively assess jewellery repairs
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand and exceed customer needs and expectations
• Evaluate jewellery quality and pricing
• Ensure strict quality control and attention to detail

Qualifications

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in luxury goods and/or jewellery sales and manufacturing
2. Comprehensive knowledge of:

• Gemstones
• Precious metals
• Jewellery design principles

3. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

4. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

5. Strong time management and deadline adherence
