York Jewellers is seeking a skilled and experienced Luxury Goods / Jewellery sales professional to join our team. You will play a crucial customer-facing role, guiding clients in selecting the perfect jewellery piece.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide expert customer consultation and jewellery sales for ready-to-purchase and bespoke jewellery.
- Assist jewellery designers with bookings for custom jewellery pieces
- Book in and comprehensively assess jewellery repairs
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand and exceed customer needs and expectations
- Evaluate jewellery quality and pricing
- Ensure strict quality control and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in luxury goods and/or jewellery sales and manufacturing
- Comprehensive knowledge of:
- Gemstones
- Precious metals
- Jewellery design principles
3. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
5. Strong time management and deadline adherence
