Glen Street Theatre launches an exciting 2024 Season program of events!

With a fresh line-up of performances, covering a suite of genres for all generations, Glen Steet Theatre’s stage is set for a sensational 2024 Season.

The all-star line-up features live music, comedy, drama, and film screenings, as well as family shows, dance, and musical storytelling. 

Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins said the fresh and diverse program offers something for every taste and age group.

“Glen Street Theatre continues to be a wonderful creative and cultural hub on the Northern Beaches,” Mayor Heins said.

“We are proud to announce a 2024 season program that is joyful, engaging and inclusive.

“We are also excited to present exceptional entertainment in partnership with some of the premier touring production companies in Australia.

“I hope to see you all at Glen Street Theatre for an absolutely terrific 2024 season!”

Highlights of the program include the West End and Broadway classic and longest running play of all-time – the event of the year – Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap

Families will find plenty of fun with high energy shows like The Gruffalo and Dog Man the Musical. There are also big names in Australian music like Kate Miller-Heidke and Prinnie Stevens, top live music tributes to Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, ABBA, and more as well as plenty of dance with The Tap Pack and the return of the popular Taste of Ireland. 

Audiences will be treated to excellent dramas and acclaimed productions such as Pulitzer Prize-winning Wit, written by Margaret Edson; The Peasant Prince, adapted for children from Li Cunxin’s iconic autobiographyMao’s Last Dancer; and the ‘winsome (and) lyrical’ Australian drama The Highway of Lost Hearts by Mary Anne Butler. 

Glen Street Theatre favourites also return to the limelight, such as the beloved Wharf Revue with their new show, Pride in Prejudice, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow, and a suite of excellent film screenings such as, Manhattan Short Film FestivalWarren Miller’s ALLTIME, Reel Rock 18 and more.
