U3A – History of the Quarantine Station
The Northern Beaches Region of the University of the Third Age (U3A) would like to invite non-members during Seniors Festival, to sample a selection of our wonderfully diverse program of presentations and courses.
Hear a presentation from the NSW Maritime Museum about the history of the Quarantine Station, in particular its importance for infection control in the new colony.
U3A is a worldwide organisation that enables retired people to engage with others who share a love of learning and interests.
No entry qualifications are required and there are no exams.
U3A Membership – annual membership of $75 entitles members to attend as many talks, courses and events throughout the seven Sydney U3A regions.
