This training is delivered by registered nurses who bring everything required.
This class aims to empower young people by showing them how to act in an emergency but also showing them how to keep themselves safe. The topics covered are CPR, head injuries, bleeding, seizures, asthma, anaphylaxis, bites and stings, how to deal with a person suffering from the effects of drugs or alcohol, fractures and much more. Everyone gets a free first aid book so there is no pressure to remember everything on the day. There will be state of the art equipment for practicing CPR and asthma and anaphylaxis treatments. Each class will be tailored to suit the children’s ages.
Parents can sit in at no cost.
Tickets have been discounted due to the generosity of the first aid company and the venue. $10 from each ticket will go to the local charity, Fight on the Beaches.
