Sydney | Friday Veteran Sailing Days
For the Defence Community – Serving, former serving & family members. Open to everyone 7 years and above who can swim 50m on their own.
Saltwater Veterans have enjoyed the thrill of sailing while taking in the surrounds of Sydney’s Pittwater, thanks to the support of the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club.
Register below as a Saltwater Veteran and try your hand at sailing an Elliot 7 race boat with the help of a qualified instructor or just go for a relaxing cruise on a yacht for the morning.
This day is geared for participants to do as little or as much as they like, no experience necessary!
What to bring | For ALL socials please make sure you bring sun protection ie hat, sunscreen, sun-smart clothing, water bottle, etc as these will not be provided.
If you bring electronics such as cameras and phones – this is at your own risk. They can make no assurances that these will stay dry.
Not coming? You can do this by either cancelling your ticket in Eventbrite or emailing them.
Activity Waiver | Also, if you are able to make it, and haven’t completed a waiver for a previous SWV event, please take 5 minutes to do so prior to arriving for the event:

* Please note these are social events put together by volunteers – they are not courses or instructional. Each participant is responsible for their safety (wearing PPE such as helmets and life jackets), being able to swim (at least 50m without assistance) where applicable and, complying with any state, Covid, road, maritime rules & laws. As part of the NSW and SA Health/State Covid plan, participants must be double vax’d and maybe be required to sign in using QR code in accordance with our State Government Covid Safe plan/requirements.
