Manly SES Open Day
Manly SES is having an Open Day on Sunday 24 July at their base in Balgowlah. They invite locals to drop by anytime between 12-4pm.
If you’ve ever considered volunteering for the SES it’s a great opportunity to find out how you can get involved, but we would also like locals to have the chance to see the base, learn more about what they do and how they can help you get ready for storms, floods and tsunamis.
They’d love to hear your questions regarding how to best prepare and protect your property, especially with a wet spring on the forecast. Like we haven’t had enough rain!
The Open Day might be of particular interest to those who live in flood prone areas within their patch (which runs from Seaforth to Dee Why), as well as those who are community minded, value volunteering and can see themselves in orange!
They’re also putting on a free BBQ which is hard to pass up.
No need to book, just come on down and say hi.
Location: Manly SES Base, 1c Quirk Road, Balgowlah
