Fit for High School – How to have confidence in your child’s readiness for high school and beyond
It is important that when choosing a high school, that you look past the ranking and just the academics. In order to grow and develop a whole child, it is important to look at all factors that the school has to offer.
We will also be discussing the transition to high school and where our students tend to go to complete their studies. We will discuss what our parents have to say and how they are feeling about the transition and what they look for when choosing a high school.
John Colet focuses on three key areas when it comes to the education of the whole child.
These areas include developing attention, education, and developing the character. These areas are brought to life through Shakespeare, a wide range of educational activities that are able to help the child to learn in many different wats, and the building of various skills including resilience and patience to help develop the student’s character and personality.
