Composting and Worms Workshop

Did you realise that when food scraps are sent to landfill, they decompose and produce methane, a greenhouse gas with more than 20 times the global warming capacity of carbon dioxide? Food scraps in landfill also produce an organic leachate which is polluting to groundwater. While Kimbriki does not receive food waste, the team at the Eco House & Garden are passionate about educating our community on how they can remove organic food waste from the waste stream through composting and worm farms.
