Australia Day in The Rocks

Feeling patriotic? Pop down to The Rocks and celebrate Australia day in the sun! The Rocks area is hosting a series of exciting events, from live music and wheelchair races to Aussie high tea.

First Fleet Park will come to life with an outdoor lounge, kids corner including games, picnic market and delicious food. There will be Australia Day Markets with stalls, artisan vendors, chillout area, and local buskers just down the road between Hickson Rd and Argyle St.

Head to Gelatissimo to taste three special Australia day gelato flavours made in collaboration with the Sweet Assassin Adriano Zumbo. Or sample their incredible and minimal brown sugar bubble tea flavour.

To make a day of it, get to the Tea Cosy to experience the ultimate Australia Day high tea. Expect towers of vegemite sandwiches, fairy bread with lemon curd, lamington scones and of course bottomless beverage packages if you’re so inclined.

And with many bars and restaurants extending their seating areas onto the streets, The Rocks is the perfect place to relax. Don’t forget to book to avoid disappointment.
