A personal trainer is perfect for people who are just starting out their health and fitness journey. A trainer will guide you through setting a goal, exercising correctly and eating in conjunction with your goal. A personal trainer is also well suited for people who have been training for a long time. Sometimes things like technique, exercise selection, regular training and eating the wrong foods can affect your results even if you think you are doing the right thing.
Setting a goal is a perfect way to focus on your training. A personal trainer will keep you on track and accountable to achieve your goal by doing the following:
- Designing you a program best suited to your individual needs, you will know when, how and how much you need to be training.
- Motivating you both inside and outside your training sessions.
- Educating you on what foods will best complement your training. For example: did you know that 80% of your results will come from what you are eating?

It is very easy to go to the gym week in-week out and do the same classes, run on the treadmill for 10 minutes, have a stretch and leave. What about the weight training? Unlike what you may have thought in the past, doing weights will not make you big and bulky. Following a weights program 1-2 times per week will help to build lean muscle, burn fat, tone, help prevent osteoporosis and give you that beach body you want.
And at the end of the day personal training is just that – personal.
