Stan Yarramunua, renowned and respected Aboriginal artist, philanthropist, and cultural ambassador comes to Freshwater to open a vibrant gallery space on 15th November at 32 Lawrence Street, Stan's fascinating life story has been documented in his acclaimed book "A Man Called Yarra" and he has featured in multiple media forms documenting his fascinating life and work.

Offering a stunning collection of Aboriginal artworks, the gallery celebrates the deep cultural stories, connection to country and embedded spirituality within the paintings. During his artistic residency Stan will also share traditional cultural practices, including smoking ceremonies, blessings, and didgeridoo performances offering visitors an authentic and meaningful experience. 

Stan looks forward to connecting with the Northern Beaches community through art, storytelling and culture whilst bringing spirit, creativity and heritage to the heart of the Northern Beaches.

The Centre is uniquely set-on acreage, with a Bush Preschool Program. The Children engage daily with the bush setting and it is embedded in our daily program.

I’m Sinead from Sinead Thoroughgood Wellness. I help busy, overwhelmed women go from Burnout to Balance through simple, sustainable, science-backed strategies that nurture the mind, body, and soul. My programs, workshops, Wellness Retreats and coaching weave together psychology, neuroscience, movement, and holistic wellness to create lasting change, calm, and confidence to face lifes challenges.

The Women's Resilience Centre is a national service dedicated to helping women heal and move forward from domestic abuse and trauma through powerful and holistic long-term recovery support. Programs are offered to help work and career, finances, parenting, relationships, joy, connection, stress reduction and resilience, reflecting our core values of safety first, caring to the core, respect, hope, inclusion and empowerment.

The Women's Resilience Centre is accessible to any woman seeking support in every community of Australia through secure online programs and remote client care management, and mentoring, ensuring privacy and support regardless of location.

We specialise in the vital next step post crisis: sustainable recovery and breaking the cycle of abuse. We know that recovery is prevention. By helping women rebuild every aspect of their lives, we're supporting them and protecting future generations from continuing patterns of abuse. Through our national lived experience mentoring service, innovative recovery programs, and frontline support shop, The Resilience Circle, we're creating lasting change in communities across the country.
