This book is just pure joy in paperback form. It’s funny, fast-moving and exactly the kind of story that makes a six-year-old want to turn the page instead of ask for a snack. The characters feel real and relatable, the adventure keeps things exciting, and the whole thing wraps up in the most satisfying way. It’s also just the right length — we finished it over two bedtimes, which felt like the perfect amount of “just one more chapter, please!” The illustrations are gorgeous too, which honestly helps when you’ve got a little one who’s still building their reading stamina.
