We went to see The Book of Mormon on Wednesday night at the Capitol Theatre, and honestly, we laughed the whole way through. It’s definitely not your typical musical – it’s cheeky, a bit outrageous, and absolutely hilarious.
The cast was brilliant. So much energy and talent on stage! The singing was incredible, and some of the lines had us gasping and giggling at the same time. It’s definitely not one for younger kids (or the easily offended!), but if you’re up for something bold and a bit wild, it’s such a fun night out.
We’re three mums from the NBM Tribe (part of the chat community “Movie and Theatre Nights” group), and this night out was exactly the kind of midweek pick-me-up we needed. The theatre was buzzing, and you could tell everyone was having a great time. We left smiling, quoting lines, and already recommending it to friends.
