There are a myriad of things you can do to get your sexy back. When you get dressed nicely and put some makeup on, you always feel good which makes you feel sexy. It’s not just what you’re wearing that contributes to feeling sexy it’s what you’re wearing underneath. So throw away or maybe put to the side, for now, the comfy undies and bras and pop on something lacy and pretty. Even if it’s just for you and no-one else, it just makes you feel good. Even if you are just chilling out at home in your track pants, it feels great to have the sexy lingerie on underneath.
It’s important to get comfortable with your body and love it no matter what shape or size.
So a great idea is to get naked! Vacuum, dust, cook with care. When you get comfortable with being naked, it creates such a space of freedom and ease within yourself and when you experience that, it feels sexy.
Put on some great music and dance around the loungeroom, move your hips, tap into your erotic side.
Self-pleasuring is a great key to feeling sexy. Tapping into your sexual energy will always give you a glow and help you to feel sexy… put some music on, light some candles and have a date with yourself.
Keep an eye on happiness levels
What’s your self-talk like? Do you constantly look in the mirror and roll your eyes or say “I look too fat in that”. Be kind to yourself, give yourself pep talks of positivity. Find some mantras that work for you and say them daily.
There’s a saying – you are what you eat
When you load your system up continually with the wrong food you feel sluggish and start to feel unhealthy and when you feel like that, you most certainly won’t feel sexy. Do a realistic check list of what and how you could improve your eating habits as well as looking at your alcohol intake.
Are you doing any exercise? Exercise is not only good for you and your health it activates the happy endorphins which make you feel good and when you feel good, you feel sexy. What can you do a few times a week to get moving and enjoy it at the same time?
Laughter is the best medicine
When you laugh, it helps you activate the inner child in you and creates a lightness in your being. What activities can you do that will help you with that?
Overall feeling sexy is something that comes from within. Everyone is a little different, so it’s finding the things that work for you. The first step to getting your sexy back is always about taking that first step. Do something different to what you are doing. Play and mix it up and have fun while you’re doing it, and then I am sure you will find your sexy again.
