Watercolour Monotype Workshop with local artist Katika Schultz

Katika Schultz is a northern beaches artist with a bachelor degree in Printmaking from the National Art School. In this one day workshop you will learn a playful and beautiful art form, the watercolour monotype.

Using some painting and printmaking techniques, you will spend the day creating between 2 and 5 unique prints to take home. You will have an opportunity to print on different coloured papers and play with different techniques shown.

All materials are provided, morning tea too. This workshop is held at Little Sun Studio, a bright, light filled space on Darley Street, Mona Vale, conveniently close to Coles and cafes as well as Mona Vale art shop.

Katika has been described as a generous and patient teacher, always happy to assist and encourage her class.

The printing press is a steel bed etching press, recently acquired through a northern beaches council arts grant. It is a pleaser to use and you will be inducted at the beginning of the day as a safety precaution.
