Produce Basket Weaving

Basket-weaving, or ‘basketry’, is often considered to be one of the oldest crafts in the world. Learn basketry techniques with Penny Simons and take home your own cane produce basket from this all-day workshop. 

All cane materials are supplied, but please bring:

• a sharp pair of secateurs,
• a heavy weight (river pebble, kitchen weight or other 2kgs),
• a large bucket,
• old towel,
• flat-head screwdriver,
• and good dextrous hands!
