Pop-up Collaboration – Harbord Hotel x Gelato Messina
Harbord Hotel and Gelato Messina have decided to collaborate for this year’s Taste of the Beaches, to keep those Summer vibes flowing into winter.
Over the last weekend in May (Friday 27- Sunday 29) the Courtyard will have a special pop-up celebration from 12 pm – late.
Gelato Messina will be creating a one-off dessert inspired by the summer we all missed out on, with a deconstructed take on the pavlova with a Vanilla gelato, pineapple sorbet, mango salsa, lime meringue and freeze dried pineapple.
There will also be a special eats menu, created by Head Chef Adam Rust.
- Lobster roll with kewpie may, celery salt, pink peppercorns and gem lettuce ($19).
- Crispy Balmain Bug Po Boy roll with bacconaise, slaw, pickles and jalapeno ($19)
- Queensland tiger prawn roll with pickled cucumber avocado and shredded lettuce with chilli and lime ($19).
- Smoked kale & Quinoa slider and everyone’s favourite Potato scallops with wakame, vinegar salt and aioli.
All options are available to eat in Harbord Hotel’s sunny courtyard, or get it to go and head down to the beach or Freshwater reserve for a picnic outdoors.
