Pico Coding Club (9-14 years old)

Ready for an adventure into the exciting world of coding? Join the Pico Coding Club, who teach coding through building and sharing bite-sized games in our free 60-minute workshop.

As part of the National Science Week celebrations, there are two special coding clubs on the 19th and 20th of August 2023. Please note that both clubs offer the same content, so you only need to register for one.

Pico Coding Club believe in playful and interactive learning. They foster curiosity and encourage experimentation. Learners will unleash their creativity by experimenting with their own code. They’ll also have the chance to share their creations with fellow students.

Pico Coding Club will be teaching JavaScript, the world’s most popular programming language. With JavaScript, kids can unlock a world of possibilities and create some seriously cool things.

No prior coding experience is required. All learners of all experience levels are welcome to join on this coding adventure.

To make the most out of the workshop, please bring your own laptop, and it is recommended that you use the Chrome web browser for the best experience. Additionally, please sign up for an account on Pico before the class.
