AUTHOR-HEIDI HORNE: As a yoga, meditation, and mindset life coach, I have taught children and teenagers for around 15 years, and have loved to share my knowledge on using meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, affirmations, positive self-talk, visualisations, mindset, and yoga.
During the first round of lockdowns in Sydney, I studied Counselling and Mental Health at Western Sydney University online, and it made me even more focused to provide information that can be used at the grassroots level. Setting up easy and effective ways and using them to help cope at those times we all feel stressed, anxious, scared, or sad.
I am passionate about the wellbeing of children and teenagers, and want to help them create resilience, a personal emotional tool-box, as well as a daily habit to check on their own mental health.
