Discovery Act – Singer / songwriter Tilli Kay to open Evil Gal Blues

After placing second to The Rions at last years’ Northern Composure Unplugged, 17 year old Tilli Kay has been patiently waiting for the many Covid delays to finally be able to open the night for two of Australia’s most successful award-winning Blues & Soul artists – Liza Ohlback and Kate Lush.

Tilli Kay has been invited as the Discovery Act to show the audience why she is one to watch in the future.

Together with an all-star band, Kate & Liza will present a night of songs from the female pioneers of Blues and Soul. Hear the stories of those women like Bessie Smith, Sister Rosetta Thorpe, Billie Holiday and Big Mama Thornton who shaped Blues and Soul Music with their incredible talent, passion, grit, determination, sensuality and strength.
