What’s brewing 

Yorkshire Tea is the tea that’s so nice that Brits won’t shut up about it – so here’s your opportunity to come and find out why!  

Tucked away in the cobbled lanes of The Rocks you’ll find Yorkshire Tea at The Tea Cosy, known for its quintessential tea rooms. You’ll be greeted by Will Stewart, one of Yorkshire Tea’s VITs (Very Important Tea Drinkers) and winner of My Kitchen Rules. Will is a fan of a proper brew and is preparing his own, Yorkshire Tea-inspired Tea & Toast Tart for the menu. 

You’ll find out some fun facts too: did you know that tea should be brewed for 4-5 minutes for optimum flavour? Or that you should never re-boil your kettle? Did you know that 88% of Aussies believe their tea tastes better in their favourite cup or mug? If you like you can even bring your favourite cup or mug and enjoy your tea in that!

• A pot of Yorkshire Tea Proper Black Tea. Brewed just how you like it, strong, bold – Proper! 
• Grandstand afternoon tea comprising scones with jam & cream, finger sandwiches and a slice of Will’s delicious homemade Tea & Toast Tart 

Bring your favourite cup or mug with you or be surprised by us!  

The event is free but with limited sittings available so tickets must be booked in advance. Each sitting lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour.
