Review: Prepare Early Education Centre, Forestville

Prepare Early Education Centre in Forestville strives to bring families, children and educators together to prepare your child for life-long learning and to create wonderful memories that will be cherished.

This early childhood education centre has been open for less than a year and offers families of the Northern Beaches a warm and nurturing early childhood environment. This centre is embracing the latest in teaching methods and philosophies to provide the highest quality care that children deserve.

The centre has 3 rooms – baby (up to 18 months), toddler (18 months to 3 years) and preschool (3 years to 5 years) – where the children are catered for based on their requirements. The preschool room follows a school readiness program to ensure that the children are equipped with the school ready skills and learning which will help with a smooth transition to primary school. The centre also runs sports programs to promote physical education and that being active is a normal way of life.

There is a beautifully designed natural outdoor environment that provides endless opportunities for open-ended and imaginative play, and also promotes growth and development for all the children. The playground is undercover which allows the kids to play outside regardless of rainy days or overly sunny days (so they will never be stuck inside).

The children at the centre get a healthy and nutritious well-balanced meal which is prepared by the on-site chef, and it is great that special dietary requirements are also catered for.

The friendly educators are dedicated to support the children’s learning and development assisting the nurture of healthy relationships and a positive attitude towards learning. The transparency between educators and parents is important at the centre so they use an app called OWNA. It enables the centre to provide real time updates to parents which is lovely for the parents to see during their day, but also encourages clear lines of communication between the educators and the parents.

With underground parking drop-offs and pick-ups is easy and convenient for the families. If you are living in the Forestville or Killarney Heights area a tour of this centre is a must!
