Get ready to make a difference while getting fit! Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT and KPMG are inviting Sydneysiders to join the annual Variety Spin 4 Kids Sydney event on Friday, 6 September 2024. This high-energy cycling challenge brings together teams of up to 10 people to raise vital funds for children with disabilities, illnesses, or facing disadvantage.
This exciting event is a five-hour spin bike challenge that combines fun, fitness, and fundraising for a great cause. It promises a fun-filled day of camaraderie, fitness, and giving back to the community.
The event is more than just a workout; it’s a chance to connect with like-minded individuals, enjoy great music, and contribute to a worthy cause.
“With the rising cost of living, many families are struggling,” says Variety NSW/ACT CEO Tony Warner. “We’re calling on the Sydney community to come together, get spinning, and support our vital work.”
Funds raised through Variety Spin 4 Kids directly impact the lives of children. Last year alone, Variety provided over 340 grants, reaching more than 27,000 children across NSW and the ACT. These grants can be life-changing, providing much-needed equipment and support.
KPMG, a proud sponsor of the event, encourages participation from both individuals and corporate teams. “We believe every child deserves the chance to live a full and happy life,” says Mat Saunders, KPMG Partner.
The event will award prizes for the best-dressed team and individual, the highest fundraising team, and the coveted titles of Kinds and Queens of Spin.
