Prams at the Pix sessions are back! With all the hype around movies returning, we wanted to make sure that our customers know that their safety comes first. As with all of our sessions at the moment, Prams at the Pix may be running a little differently than you might be used to. Here at HOYTS Warringah Mall, we feel that it is important to make these changes known to you so that you can feel confident to return to the cinema.
The first change you will notice when entering our cinema is the sanitisation stations set up around the foyer. These enable you and your little ones to sanitise your hands whenever you feel it necessary. Our crew sanitise their hands regularly, and after all cash transactions, to reduce the spread of germs and viruses.
When purchasing your tickets, the crew member will ask for your name and phone number. We ask for this information so that we can let you know if any confirmed cases of COVID-19 are linked to our cinema. If you use a kiosk, the app, or the website to book your tickets, you will be asked to enter this information before you check out. You may also notice that some of our staff are wearing masks. We have many staff who are studying to become essential parts of our community, such as nurses and teachers, and are soon to be doing placements in these areas. When attending our cinema, you are encouraged to make your own decision about whether to wear a mask.
In the interest of keeping everyone distanced, we are not selling tickets directly next to other tickets. However as a family group, you will be able to sit with your little one when you enter the cinema. This also reduces the number of patrons we have in the cinema, so we encourage patrons to book early to secure seats.
Being a family-focused cinema, we also know that little hands get into all sorts of places and touch all sorts of things. For this reason, we have regular cleaning schedules of all areas of our cinemas and foyers, and more rigorous and regular schedules for frequently touched surfaces.
We are so thrilled to have our Prams at the Pix sessions running again, and to provide a great experience for all the parents and children that we serve here on the Northern Beaches. We are excited to be showing films such as All My Life, Freaky, and Radioactive in November, and many great titles in the months ahead.
