An opportunity has come for a robust and fit lad to join our removalist team.
You will be packing/unpacking our styling furniture with the help of 2-3 removalists.
We are moving furniture from our warehouse in Brookvale to our client’s properties.
Working in a small 6-8 people team (four boys and four girls), we style homes for sale,
so it’s never dull.
Handyman skills can be beneficial in hanging artworks and mirrors.

Tasks and duties
Assessing the Furniture and Furnishings selected for a styling job and planning how the move will unfold.
Wrapping lounges, packing boxes and protecting fragile items.
Packing furniture into transport vehicles keeping in mind their weight and fragility.
Load goods onto the truck by hand or using trolleys.
Use pads and blankets to ensure items such as tables, lounges and beds are not damaged.
Ensure the load is correctly placed and secured to avoid damage to the truck or furniture.
Drive defensively and handle all types of road conditions
Check items against inventory, noting any wear and tear or damage
Unloading at the job site ad placing furniture in the designated room.
Driving vehicles, such as trucks and vans if required.
Hanging artworks and mirrors within the property
Disposing of rubbish and excess packing material.
Touching up furniture and walls (patch and paint).
Removing all wall fixings after a job and patching and painting.
Maintaining the Toolbox and ensuring supplies of fixings. Power tools are charged.
Recording notes about any breakage or damage and advising the Maintenace Manager.
Maintaining the truck and van along with all packing materials.
Moving furniture within a client’s home as guided by the Stylist.
Maintaining the warehouse and managing where all the stock resides.
Working within a team environment.
Conduct a general maintenance check of the truck and clean the vehicle
Provide customer service.
