Digital Products Customer Service Manager

An exciting opportunity to join Active Networks, a dynamic marketing company, exists for an enthusiastic Digital Customer Service Product Manager. This is a 12-month part-time role covering whilst the incumbent is on maternity leave. You are responsible for managing our digital assets, the resources that support them and the clients that advertise within them. This is not an IT role rather a hands-on, customer focused, senior role – one that can be done inhouse or remote.

Over the last 20 years, Active Networks has grown to be the largest publisher north of the Harbour Bridge. We produce Peninsula Living Pittwater, Peninsula Living Manly-Warringah and North Shore Living – the three leading monthly community magazines in Sydney’s lower North Shore and Northern Beaches. We also publish a daily digital news website, a deals and events site, two Facebook groups and e-newsletters. Our team of 10 is based in the modern Lifestyle Working Office building adjacent to Warringah Mall in Brookvale.

About the role

This is a part time (up to 30 hours per week), 12-month role. Working hours are flexible as is the location. You may be working from our office on the Northern Beaches or remotely, given you have adequate internet speed.

Responsibilities include managing our brands, governance, training, and external resources. You are also charged with providing exceptional customer (advertiser) service and enhancing site user experience. – you are responsible for the site’s efficacy, the content, procedures, policies and, most importantly, for managing our paying clients (advertisers).  A significant part of this role is to consult with our clients, manage the content they publish and their results. You will build a rapport as you provide advice on what and how to promote their products and services.

Northside Living Buy, Sell, Connect Facebook group – has over 150,00 members.

Email newsletter – a wrap-up of articles, deals and events published twice a week to more than 60,000 residents. –our daily digital news site publishing news, events, and interviews.

Skills and experience

Servicing clients. You are a confident relationship builder with great interpersonal skills for forming long-lasting relationships.
Experience managing and working with groups/teams across a range of platforms and projects.
Strong time/project management and prioritisation skills
Proactive and adaptable. You are able to work autonomously with strong sense of responsibility.
Creative thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience using different social media and marketing platforms – including Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Linktree, Facebook pages and groups and Instagram Business.
A resilient team player with a positive can-do attitude.
Delivers results and keeps track of KPIs.
Experience with WordPress is an advantage.

We are looking for a personable, dynamic, well-spoken Digital Customer Service Product Manager who is looking to be challenged and will help take our digital assets to new heights. You will work with our clients to ensure their marketing is working, you will work with our developers to enhance our users’ site experience, and you will work with inhouse and remote support to deliver a high-quality product.

You may have a marketing background, but you will have strong experience in digital content management, Google Analytics, and social media. In return, you will be mentored and trained, joining a fun, enthusiastic team.
