Calling all ocean and beach lovers! The Northern Beaches Cleanup Crew is organizing a community cleanup event at Whale Beach on Sunday 28th April 2024.

Join at 10:00am on the grass area at the corner of Surf Road and The Strand. Together, you’ll tackle both the beach and the grassy area, focusing on removing plastic, cigarette butts, and general rubbish before it reaches the ocean.

There will be clean gloves, bags, and buckets available, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. This is a family-friendly event, so please leave political, religious, and business messages at home. The goal is to create a welcoming environment for everyone who wants to contribute to a cleaner planet and enjoy the beautiful Whale Beach community.

No booking is required! Just show up with your enthusiasm for a cleaner Whale Beach. The cleanup typically lasts until around 11:15AM, followed by an optional lunch together (participants cover their own lunch costs).
