The Sydney Gluten-Free Expo will be held at Royal Randwick Racecourse on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th August, offering a two-day celebration of delicious gluten-free discoveries, expert talks, live cooking demos, special brand discounts and the chance to shop for your favourite gluten-free brands. 

This year’s Gluten Free Expo Sydney also brings together an exciting mix of expert speakers, passionate creators and family-friendly entertainment across both days of the event. Leading gastroenterologist Dr Vincent Ho returns to share the latest updates in coeliac disease research, while Dr Kim Faulkner-Hogg will unpack emerging science around trace gluten and shifting views on oats in a gluten-free diet. 

Cooking fans won’t want to miss demonstrations on the main stage including Spices with Ambika who will dive into the art of gluten-free spicecraft. Younger visitors will enjoy Jack the Sillyak’s high-energy kids’ show and hear from 13-year old Petra, sharing what it’s like living gluten free from a kid’s point of view. And for those with a sweet tooth, the first-ever OMG Donut Eating Competition will crown Sydney’s speediest gluten-free donut fan.

As Australia’s only dedicated gluten-free event, this expo is the ultimate destination to taste, try and stock up on everything from pizza and pastries to snacks and craft beer. All proceeds from the Gluten-Free Expo go towards supporting people with coeliac disease.
