Splash Without the Trash organises Ocean & Beach cleans in the Rose Bay beach and harbour area on a monthly basis. They collaborate with Rose Bay Aquatic Hire, who provide their kayaks and paddleboards to you for use during the cleanup events (weather permitting). Their volunteers are able to see first hand the amount of rubbish that accumulates in the harbour and on the beaches, particularly the smaller, more secluded harbour beaches that are not regularly cleaned.
After our Ocean & Beach clean they will invite you to take part in a virtual “trashy trivia”, full of interesting facts about ocean pollution and effective waste management, with prizes for those who are able to answer the most questions correctly!
