Seeing Sydney, Knowing Country is a thought-provoking exhibition that explores Sydney’s landscapes through both colonial history and First Nations perspectives.
Featuring historical maps, artworks, and objects, including Sydney’s first land grant, the exhibition highlights the impact of colonial dispossession and integrates First Nations knowledge of Country.
Developed in collaboration with Dharawal and Yuin artist Alison Page and the Sydney Coastal Aboriginal Women’s Group, this exhibition offers a deep understanding of Sydney’s land and its complex history.
