Save the Children, Whirl Recycling, Kimbriki Resource Recovery Centre, and Revolve Recycling are partnering for this event. Participants are encouraged to drive and drop off their old and unwanted items for reuse and recycling. Acceptable items include clothing and Manchester in good condition, small homeowners, small to medium-sized electronic items, small metal items, excess cardboard, and bikes/e-bikes.
Participants should separate their items into the following five categories before arriving:
- Clothing and accessories, Machester, and small homewares
- Small to medium-sized electronic items
- Small metal items
- Excess cardboard
- Bikes
Items should be grouped in different boxes or bags and packed into the boot or rear of the vehicle for safe removal by staff. Upon arrival, participants are asked to stay in their vehicles while collection staff unpack the items to expedite the process.
