Northern Beaches families are invited to come together for a warm, welcoming Sorry Day gathering starting at 12:30 pm outside Mona Vale Memorial Hall. This special afternoon includes a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, music, a reflective walk to Remember the Stolen Generations, followed by plenty of time inside to connect, listen and create. Mums can enjoy afternoon tea and bush‑inspired treats while kids get hands‑on with boomerang painting and colouring. There’ll be Aboriginal dancing, powerful storytelling and poetry, weaving with Aunty Karleen Green (take your creation home!), beautiful artefacts on display, and the incredible voice of Aleta Wassell. A relaxed, family‑friendly way to learn, reflect and spend time together.
