Gather at the Manly/Queenscliff Lagoon for a community clean-up. The organizers will provide clean, washed gloves, bags, and buckets. The effort will focus on cleaning the grass area to catch litter before it reaches the lagoon and the beach, as well as removing plastic, cigarette butts, and other rubbish from the lagoon and beach area.
This friendly, family-oriented group welcomes everyone and requests that political, religious, and business messages be left at home to ensure a comfortable environment for all. It is a great opportunity to make new friends and contribute positively to the environment.
Lovely Roly from Emu Parade Clean Up will also join the event, providing volunteers with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.
Schedule:
- 10:00 AM: Briefing
- 10:15 – 11:45 AM: Clean-Up (60-90 minutes)
- 12:00 PM: Bagging the rubbish

No booking is required; participants are encouraged to simply show up on the day. Any amount of help is appreciated, and it is understood if volunteers cannot stay for the entire event. Those who need assistance with directions are welcome to send the organizer a message. Participants are encouraged to invite family and friends and share this event.
