Now in its 5th year, Dress for Success is powering up their Empower Hour campaign for International Women’s Day, 8 March 2021.

Empower Hour is quite simply a ‘pay it forward’ campaign, they are inviting Australians to pledge an hour of pay to help a woman, who may be struggling with unemployment and financial difficulty, on the path to employment and financial security for herself and her family.

Their goal is to raise over $100,000 to transition more than 300 women from welfare to work.

This year’s IWD theme is #ChooseToChallenge – they can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, each one of us can help create change if we choose to challenge.
