🎤 Got a budding poet or love a bit of live performance? Head to Manly Library on Saturday 28 June, 4.30–6pm for the Northern Beaches heat of the 2025 Australian Poetry Slam!

Whether your teen wants to take the mic or you just want to cheer on our local talent, this event is full of raw emotion, powerful words, and community spirit. Performers (12+) get two minutes to wow the crowd with original poems, stories, or raps—and yes, the audience gets to judge!

Prizes, poetry, and a chance to move on to the State Final? Sounds like a slam dunk of a night! Poets sign up from 4pm—so come early and don’t miss a moment.
