Tell Me Something Playreading
With the support of a Northern Beaches Council Creative Community Support Grant, ‘Tell Me Something’ will be read for the first time, at the brand new Avalon arts space, The Avalon Workshop by Mitchell Bourke, Florence Florens, Andrew Fraser and Tiffany Wong.
Stage directions will be read by Kate Sheil. Written and directed by Sophia Davidson Gluyas, ‘Tell Me Something’ is a new Australian play about the minutiae of queer lives. Set in and around Surry Hills in 2005, ‘Tell Me Something’ paints a portrait of share house living, loving, and lying. It’s a play about the conversations we do and don’t have. The stories we do and don’t tell. And the way those stories and conversations, define our lives.
The event will have limited in-person capacity due to COVID-19 so will also be live-streamed from YouTube at www.youtube.com/watch.
