Standard Mental Health First Aid Course
The 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid course teaches adults (18 years and over) how to provide initial support to someone who is developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.
The dates for this two-day course are Monday 10 and Monday 17 October 2022.
Learn about the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems in adults, how to provide initial help, where and how to get professional help, what sort of help has been shown by researchers to be effective, and how to provide first aid in a crisis situation.
Course cost includes a manual, lunch and morning & afternoon tea. Free undercover parking is available at the venue.
