Spectrum

Following the success of the recent Autumn Art Exhibition, the Northern Beaches Art Society Inc. are thrilled to be able to present “Spectrum”, the 76th Annual Awards Art Exhibition and Sale.

The Official Opening will be from 6 – 8pm on Friday 17 June, drinks will be served. The enthusiastic members, who are all local artists, will be vying for three major awards.

Northern Beaches Mayor Michael Regan will be opening the exhibition and presenting all the awards on Opening Night. All the paintings will be for sale and any sold paintings can be picked up after 4pm on Sunday 19 June.

A number of new members, who joined after visiting the previous exhibition, will have works on display at this exhibition. Visitors will be able to see a vast array of works in a variety of mediums and styles in oils, watercolours, acrylics, and pastels as well as drawings covering a plethora of subjects.

Visitors will be able to purchase raffle tickets to win a beautiful watercolour painting by Lyndall Clegg. All proceeds from this raffle will go to the Ukraine Crisis Appeal. The winner will be drawn at the end of the exhibition. Tickets will be $2 each or 3 for $5.

Visitors will also be able to vote for their favourite painting. The artist who gains the most votes for their painting, will win a prize at the end of the exhibition.
