Rugby Fives @ Palm Beach
Rugby Fives exciting new beach rugby format and festival style family fun day is a free community event, powered by Wahu. This outdoor event is the perfect covid safe opportunity for friends and family to enjoy a range of games and activities with the sun, sand, and surf as the perfect backdrop.
Rugby Fives is excited to partner with NSW Positive Rugby Foundation to support grassroots Rugby and offer the Northern Beaches an action-packed day with fun for all the family.
Taking place on Sunday 28 November 2021 on the shores of Palm Beach, Rugby Fives powered by Wahu is bringing the fastest growing game in Europe to the beaches of Australia. Rugby Fives Beach rugby is high energy, fast paced and fun to watch and play.
Rugby legends past and present will be in attendance and all ages will have the opportunity to take photos alongside their favourite footy stars. There is also beach games and races, skills sessions, face painting for the kids and exciting giveaways and prizes to be won.
Exhibition Teams showcase the friendly rivalry between 15s and 7s and include:

- Waratahs Mens & Womens
- Aussie Sevens Mens & Womens
- Shute Shield Superstars
