Reuse and Recycling Event

You can drive and drop off your old and unwanted items for reuse and recycling including clothing in good condition, electronics, essential nursery items for babies and children and bikes/e-bikes. This event is partnering with Australian Red Cross, Arnies Recon, the Dandelion Support Network and Revolve Recycling.

Please separate your items before you arrive at the event.

Based on the categories below please group your items in different boxes or bags before you arrive and pack these into your boot or rear of your vehicle so they can be safely removed by staff.

  • Nursery items/clothing for babies and children
  • Bikes

Please stay in your vehicle – when you arrive at the event and our collection staff will unpack your vehicle to get you on your way faster. 

What can you drop off?

Clothing and accessories for adults

New or used items in good condition and small homewares

Accepted items:

  • Quality women’s and men’s clothing
  • Bags, shoes, belts, hats, and other accessories
  • Jewellery
  • Small quality homeware items such as ornaments, unique décor items and collectables – please wrap and separate these from the above categories 

Items not accepted:

  • Soiled/damaged  clothing
  • underwear/socks
  • uniforms
  • used beauty products
  • kitchenware
  • food
  • furniture
  • books/DVDs/CDs 
  • harmful products (eg. knives & combustibles). 

Small electronic items

No larger than a microwave, working or not working

Items accepted:

  • Cameras / camera lens and accessories / video cameras / tripods
  • Desktop computers / laptops / computer parts / hard drives / monitors / iPads / tablets
  • Servers / switches / routers
  • Gameboys / computer games / game consoles and peripherals
  • TVs (flat screen only, less than 55cm)
  • iPods
  • Mobile phones
  • Cords and cables
  • Electric tools
  • Small kitchen appliances / electronic items
  • Sewing machines / overlockers
  • Radios

  • Bassinets (please refer to website as some models aren’t accepted) 
  • Children’s books age 0 – teen 
  • Bouncers and rockers with 3 or 5 point harness 
  • Manual breast pumps 
  • Breastfeeding supports 
  • Capsules, car seats, convertible car seats and car booster seats made in 2016 or later 
  • Change mats 
  • Change tables (folding only)
