Pittwater Autumn Market

An Autumn Market for Northern Beaches

Cambridge Market returns to Mona Vale Sunday April 30, 2023

A huge waterside market is on its way for the Northern Beaches, with Cambridge Markets.

The event will take place at Winnererremy Bay, Mona Vale, and will involve more than 150 stalls across fashion, food, homewares, gifting, art, craft, garden goods, pet gear, toys, childrenswear, jewellery and plenty more. There will also be rides and inflatable rides by Planet Entertainment.

The market is a part of a series of seasonal events Cambridge Markets hosts on the Northern Beaches, which have a particular focus on small, local and artisan craftspeople, producers, makers and creators.

The Pittwater Autumn Market will also have live music, activities for kids and a bounty of delicious global food to suit all tastes.

“The Northern Beaches is a very special community and we love working with this community to bring a hyper-local mix of businesses to this fantastic location,” Cambridge Markets director Madelienne Anderson says. “People here are very loyal to local makers and creators and love to get out to find a way to support our micro retailers.”

This market’s mix of stallholders will include Perez Trading, with its panama and felt hats, blankets, ponchos and jackets, hand-crafted sustainable eyewear from Pacifico Optical, Australian ugg boots, cow hides and hemp products from Imosh Australia, ceramic and clay giftware by Sandie’s Garden and a botanical body care range from Alaya. Take home craft drinks from Buffalo Vale Distillery who make gin, vodka and a single-botanical spirit and boutique premium wines from Savannah Estate.

World food on offer will include New York-style cookies from Thicc Cookies, Portuguese custard tarts and donut balls from Natas and Co, Italian artisan organic products including pasta and balsamic vinegar from Bottega, empanadas and other Latin favourites from Empanadas, lobster rolls and bbq seafood from East Blue Seafood, Egyptian felafel rolls and chicken shawarma from Urban Gypsy, gozleme from Authentic Turkish Gozleme and traditional Vietnamese food from Vietbanhese.

“The Pittwater Market is always very well attended with a super chilled atmosphere as befitting this beachside location,” Anderson says.

“People love to come and do a bit of shopping with our craftspeople and producers, then to stay for some really great gourmet world food and a bit of live music. It’s a great day out for the whole family. There’s plenty for kids to see and do, including a range of kids’ activities, and a wonderful community atmosphere that permeates the whole day.

“We work really hard to ensure just the right mix of stallholders so that there’s something for everyone at this market.”

The Pittwater Autumn Market is part of a series of markets across Sydney held by Cambridge Markets. Seasonal markets are held in locations as varied as Cronulla, Moore Park, Watsons Bay and Glebe. Cambridge Markets also holds regular markets in Ryde, Wentworth Point, Quay Quarter Lanes in the CBD and at the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park.

“Markets are a wonderful event for small businesses and locals,” says Anderson. “We encourage shoppers to come out and support the independent retailers, chefs and artisans who trade at our markets.”
