Picnic in the Park is heading to Dunbar Park, Avalon! Join the event on Saturday 3 June and see Peppa Pig, George Pig and their friend Sammy for the Peppa Pigs ‘Taking Turns’ live stage show. Meanwhile bust a few moves with Busy Izzy and Friends and soak up the atmosphere with lots of other fun entertainment.

Tickets
Tickets are limited and must be pre-purchased for a cost of $10 per person (+ booking fees). Please purchase 1 ticket per person (including children, 0-12months free). You will be required to present your ticket on the day (mobile preferred) to gain access to the event.

Ticketing
Do I need to purchase tickets for children under 4 years old?
Yes, please purchase 1 ticket per person, including children. Children under 12 months are free, but still require a ticket.
Can I purchase tickets on the day?
All tickets must be pre-purchased, there will be no tickets available at the Venue. You can purchase tickets online up until the event start time (unless sold out prior).
Where will I be seated?
This event is general admission only, please arrive early to secure your picnic rug on the grass. There will be plenty of interactive music and dancing for the family, so please be mindful of those around you.
How do I scan into the event?
Head straight to the gate with your tickets displayed on your smartphone. Printed e-tickets are also accepted.
How much do tickets cost?
Tickets are limited and must be pre-purchased for a cost of $10 per person (+ booking fees).
What do I do if I have lost my ticket confirmation?
After purchasing your tickets, a confirmation page will load and you will automatically receive your tickets by email. This email will usually come through after a few minutes, however please keep an eye on your spam or junk mail if you have not received.
If you are certain that you have not received the confirmation email and payment has been finalised, please contact the Northern Beaches Council Events Team on 1300 434 434 or email events@northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au who will be able to check your details and reissue your tickets.

Is there accessible seating?
Everyone is welcome to the event. If you have any accessibility or inclusion requirements in order to fully participate, please let the events team know prior to attending the event by contacting events@northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au or call 02 8495 5481.
Can I bring my dog to the event?
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted at this event. Assistance animals are permitted, please contact the Events Team.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
You are most welcome to BYO food and drinks, enjoy something from one of the local cafes or one of our onsite food trucks.
Please note, this is a glass free event.
Will there be water onsite?
There are water stations for you to refill and refresh. Please bring your own water bottle. Note, no food vendors will be selling bottled water onsite.
Can I bring my pram to the event?
Yes, you can bring your pram. It is asked that you are considerate of other patrons around you for best viewing.
Can I smoke/vape at the event?
No, events are smoke free. Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted.
What if it rains?
As this is an outdoor event, this is subject to weather and encourage you to bring wet weather gear (raincoat, ponchos, umbrellas etc.) in case of light rain.
In the event that Picnic in the Park is cancelled, ticketholders will receive communication from Northern Beaches Council via the event webpage, social media channels and email prior to the event.
What transport options do I have?
Visitors are encouraged to come by foot or public transport to avoid congestion. Check for transport options and changes(Opens in a new window).
Refunds
What happens if I cannot attend and/or change my mind?
This event is non-refundable and no change of mind will be permitted.
What happens if the event is cancelled?
Northern Beaches Council reserves the right to cancel the event at any time if it considers it necessary and/or is in the interest of public safety due to any sort of dangerous conditions and/or force majeure. All cancellation notifications will be announced on the Northern Beaches Council event webpage, social media channels and email.
Organisers will do the best to reschedule the event. If events team are unable to postpone, you will receive a full refund.

Behavioural standards
Northern Beaches Council will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour of a threatening, aggressive, or abusive nature towards our audience members, guests, volunteers, staff or partner venue staff. Northern Beaches Council reserves the right to deny admission to the Venue.
This is an event for families.
All children 14 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Film piracy, recording or copying is a criminal offence and violation of copyright.
Any person caught recording or copying any session will be removed immediately from the venue; all tickets will be cancelled and every action will be taken to ensure that they are prosecuted to the full extent of both the criminal and the civil law.
