Northern Beaches Readers Festival
The Northern Beaches Readers Festival brings together 30 of Australia’s most popular authors for a weekend of ‘in-conversation’ events, author panels, book signings, a book club and even a great debate – ‘The book is always better than the movie.’
‘We’ve put together a cracking program across the genres we love – crime, history, romance, women’s fiction and more,’ said Festival Director, Sandie Docker. ‘Our aim is to connect readers with their favourite authors, and that’s exactly what this line-up achieves. There are household names such as Michael Robotham and Judy Nunn, but also rising stars of the literary world.’
‘There’s something for all readers in this program and what’s really exciting is that nearly a quarter of the sessions are free to the public. We want the NBRF to be as inclusive and accessible as possible,’ said Sandie Docker.
