Native Bee Workshop
Dan runs Sydney Native Bees and is a true indigenous biodiversity advocate.
Since discovering the essential link between native plant and endemic pollinator, Dan has solely focused his study on the essential role of native bees in Sydney’s suburban and industrialised environment.
This workshop covers:
- the different types of Native Bees and the vital work they do in pollinating plants in our gardens
- how to take care of them
- how to split the hive each year
- how to collect the honey they produce
