How to Support your Mates with One Eighty

This session will teach you how vital skills and concepts of Peer Support can be used in the real world.

Learn how to hold a safe space for others, engage in non-judgmental communication and develop your active listening skills.

Participants will walk away feeling confident in their ability to hold space, guide conversations, support others, and implement strategies of self-care.

This masterclass is open to ages 16+ and no pre-existing skills or knowledge are required.

Dinner will be provided.

One Eighty is a local grassroots initiative which fills a gap in the current mental healthcare sector by providing young people with access to vital peer to peer support and connection. Uniquely, the organisation and its programs are run entirely by young people under 30, which means the programs remain relevant and accessible for the target audience.
