French Market 2023

Visiting the annual French Market is like going on a trip to France.

Featuring French culinary specialties, clothing, music, and artisanal goods, including crêpes, classic berets, foie gras, cheese, and a French book sale, the FANS (French-speaking Association of the North Shore) French Market attracts 10,000 visitors to celebrate French language and culture.

The kids are sure to have a great day, with fistfuls of fairy floss, snow cones, face painting, carnival games, and plenty of thrilling rides; dodgem cars, inflatables, super slides, and more!

Discover unique shopping with over 70 professional vendors, while enjoying French music performances held throughout the day. With the holidays approaching, find exceptional gifts for that special someone.

Be sure to visit their smiling volunteer-run food stands for a taste of France. Waffles, quiches, croque-monsieur, cakes, pastries, and more delicacies await!

All proceeds go to support the unique FANS (French-speaking Association of the North Shore) bilingual program at Killarney Heights Public School, where 85% of students are enrolled to learn the NSW public school curriculum in both French and English.

The French Market is run by a team of 300 passionate parent volunteers, with the support of dedicated FANS staff. This fundraising event will be held at Killarney Heights Public School, Sunday 5 November 2023, from 9am – 4pm.
