Exploration Exhibition
Exploration celebrates the 2020 International Day of People with Disability by providing talented artists in Ku-ring-gai with an opportunity to display and sell their work and express their creativity. The exhibition is a result of Ku-ring-gai Council’s Disability & Inclusion Action Plan, which seeks to include people with a disability in local activities and events.
Exploration is also a collaboration between Ku-ring-gai Art Centre and community services organisations. Partners this year include Boona, Inala, Studio Artes, Unisson Disability Services, Artful Therapy and Macquarie University who have partnered with the Council to put together the exhibition. Explorations will display artworks in all media and from all age groups.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year’s exhibition launch will be hosted online, with a virtual tour planned of the exhibition which opens on Thursday 3 December at the Art Centre in Roseville.
Visitors can still see exhibits in person, but visitor numbers to the exhibition between 3-17 December are limited to 8 people at any one time and must be booked in advance by calling 9424 0310.
