Bags to Riches

To celebrate Youth Week, Council’s Youth Services, Waste Education Team and Youth Advisory Group are organising Bags to Riches Youth Week Market Day.

It’s a great family day out! Come and grab a bargain, find a treasure or an Easter gift while you enjoy live music from young beaches musicians.

Grab a coffee or a bite to eat from local youth service, Business Education Network. Join in the free activities and workshops.

Buyers do not need to book.

Stallholders sell second hand goods such as clothes, toys, household items, sporting equipment etc. from a suitcase, container, small table, low clothes rack or rug (no marquees).

This event is not for the purpose of business/commercial traders, items must be second hand or recycled, except for the odd item that was never used.

Regular section

There will be a reduced number of regular stall spaces available.

Youth section – 12 to 24yrs

This market has special conditions to encourage Youth Stallholders aged 12-24 to participate.

Youth stallholders tickets will be refunded after the event (those who successfully participate).

Youth vendors may also sell handmade goods as well as second hand goods.

Terms and conditions for stallholders

Stallholders agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the event.

They also love supporting local talent! They are seeking interest from music groups, bands or buskers who would also like to entertain shoppers on the day. Applications have closed.
